  • parking on every street in Mechanicsburg is available and free 24/7!

    • there are typically spots open directly in front of the salon.

  • if you’re someone who hates parallel parking, there is a lot on W. Strawberry Ave directly behind the salon for you to park in.

    • you can access this lot from Market St or N Frederick St.

  • please do your best to arrive on time to your appointment. <3

    • arriving any more than 5 minutes late may result in a change to the services we are able to provide during your appointment.

what should I do to prep for my first brow appointment?

  • don’t tweeze/get your brows waxed or threaded for at least 4 weeks.

  • stop using Retinol products (including Epiduo, Differin, and Tretinoin) for one week prior to your wax.

  • don’t self-tan/spray-tan your face for at least 2 days prior to your appointment.

  • come in with an open mind. :)

what should I do between brow appointments?

  • DON’T TWEEZE.

  • DON’T TWEEZE.

  • DON’T TWEEZE.

  • there is no maintenance you need to do at home; just come back in whenever you feel like your brows need a refresh.

will my brows look good tinted? do they need to be tinted?

  • the tint is not necessary for everyone, but it does look good on everyone.

  • tinting can help sparse brows look fuller and reduce the need to fill them in with makeup. tinting will also help your technician create your desired brow shape during your appointment.

  • your tint shade will be custom mixed to match the roots of the hair on your head (or whatever color you prefer!)

    • your first time being tinted will be done with a lighter, very natural color so you’re not too overwhelmed by the change.

how often should I get my brows done?

  • approximately every 4-6 weeks. (how quickly your hair grows back will determine what is best for you personally)

how do I get my brows to grow?

  • don’t tweeze any hairs or try to shape your own brows at home.

  • stop using a pencil or pomade to fill your brows in - switch to a powder or flexible brow gel instead. (I’ll teach you how to use these instead of your pencil during your first appointment)

  • use a growth serum.

    • I recommend Babe Lash or Grande LASH. (technically they are lash serums, but they work incredibly well on brows, too)

    • (I personally used Grande LASH to grow my own brows in and had great results - we can talk more about growth serums during your appointment!)

what is dermaplaning?

  • dermaplaning is a treatment that uses a medical scalpel to gently exfoliate the outer layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair (a.ka. peach fuzz).

  • following the treatment, makeup application is smoother and allows skincare products to absorb more effectively into the skin.

how often can i get my face dermaplaned?

  • every 4-5 weeks

  • the treatment itself removes approximately 21 days worth of dead skin so it is important to let your skin rejuvenate before your next appointment!

will dermaplaning make the hair on my face grow back thicker and darker?

  • no (thank god)

    • there are different types of hair that grow on the body; vellus hair and terminal hair.

    • vellus hair is found on most areas of the body, and terminal hair is found only on the scalp/underarms/

      etc.

    • the soft & fine vellus hair found on the face grows back at the same rate and texture as it did prior to dermaplaning.

can I still wear makeup after I get my brows & lashes tinted?

  • YES.

    • you can get your brows/lashes wet right away, wash your face, put makeup on, etc.

  • just avoid using oils/moisturizers on your brows/lashes - it will make your tint fade VERY FAST!

can I get a lash lift & tint if my eyelashes are short?

  • yes!

    • the curl may not be very noticeable or dramatic, but you can still get this service done! just have realistic expectations for the results. <3

    • we personally recommend using a growth serum on your lashes for a few weeks prior to getting your lash lift! (GrandeLASH, BabeLash, or castor oil if you prefer a more natural product)

what should I do at home after I get a lash lift & tint?

  • don’t get your lashes wet or expose them to steam for 24 hours! (this includes showering even if you don’t let the water touch your face. if you do, it can make the lift uncurl very quickly)

  • use the oil that will be provided to you after your service at least 3 times a week (just paint it on your lashes like you would a mascara!)

    • this step is VERY important to make sure your lashes stay healthy & hydrated so they don’t become brittle or break!

    • we recommend using the oil every night, but don’t panic if you forget to put it on a few nights a week!
